Oakland Cemetery
Back to Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta again this year. I was fortunate to explore a new area of this Victorian gem on the Summer Solstice, listening to the docent tell stories of Atlanta's criminal past. Honestly, the mix of shadows and light in 820nm weaved its own curious, dreamy tale. The sun was smiling on me that day.

There's something about graveyards isn't there? And for me black and white is the only way to get macabre beauty. Some parts I was taken back to your civil war and again the path . I must have a thang about paths 🙂

Lol. I love them. They really are becoming my favorite location. I thought a lot about this comment and our chat over the weekend. I have some editing ideas for the higher wavelength IR I'm going to try this week to push the aesthetics of the black and white. We'll see how that turns out. And yes, paths are very cool. Symbolic in many ways. :)
